I have been using limewire for downloading music, but due to the things I hear about people getting sued I want to stop and download music the right way, iTunes. The only concern i have is if you use iTunes, can my hardrive still be accessed to see if I ever downloaded illegaly. Basically, if I download music from iTunes, can they see if I have limewire music on my iTunes? I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks.
You can continue to download music from Limewire. I’ve been using Limewire for years. I’ve also downlaoded a song or two from iTunes. iTunes is connected to a database of music, therefore, nothing on your computer will be scanned by iTunes (except for your music collection within iTunes for the genuis feature). And the genius scans the music via band name, genre..etc..it’s not actually scanning to see if your music is legal or not. Besides, it would be illegal for anyone to access your computer without your permission. The stories you’re hearing about people getting sued happened back in the days of Napster (before it was reopened after legal issues) and people on Limewire who get caught are those who spend hours or even days at a time connected to Limewire downloading hundreds of songs at a time. If you’re connected for a few hours at a time at max then you’ll be just fine. I have a friend who’s always connected to Limewire when I see him on his computer and he’s never had issues.
Is it possible to convert music in itunes to a lower quality when you put the music on your ipod?
The music in my itunes library is in high quality, but i would like to convert it to a lower quality on my ipod so i can get more music on it.
Is this possible with itunes or do I need to use other software for this?
Thanks!
Hi, I can recommend you a good iPod Video Converter, it can convert many video formats to video format supported iPod, it also can edit a video, if you want to get a smaller video file, you can use the "Crop" function that adjust the size of the video.
If you want to learn more details about this converter, you can go to
The Internet is a treasure trove for music lovers. You can listen to music online at streaming radio websites, you can download your favorite songs and music videos at many, many websites, and you can even see free music videos at many different places. If you are interested in watching some free music videos, where should you go? Here is some advice to help you find free music videos online.
Figure out What You Want to Watch
This may seem like a given, but the first step towards finding a music video to watch is to think about the artists, songs, and type of music that you would like to watch. Do you have a favorite artist? Is there a particular genre of music that you prefer? The answers to these questions will help guide your search as you look for free music videos. If there is something specific you are looking for, you may want to write down some of these ideas, because you can use them as search terms.
If you are unsure, you can check out the lists of new music on popular media sites. If an artist has a new album coming out, chances are there are a few music videos from it as well. These are often free to view, because they help sell the album, which is what the artist’s ultimate goal is. Once you have your ideas, it is time to start searching.
Check the Artist’s Site
One of the first places to go when looking for free music videos to watch, but not necessarily to download, is the artist’s website. Again, these are great marketing tools, so artists will often post them to help promote their albums.
I want to know what song/music they play when the PA Announcer announces the starting lineup for the VISITING team at Celtics games. There are no words, it’s just music and it has been the same for years. I don’t want to know anything about the Celtics starting lineup music, thank you though.
Whether it has to do with the philosophy of better living through habit, thought or magical action, things that are associated with “New Age” are theoretically supposed to have some basis in spirituality. Yet much of this spiritually is lightly rooted in the shallows of corporate productivity techniques or power-of-positive-thinking type truisms with some pseudo eastern promises for dressing.
Then there is the New Age philosophy that harkens back to something ancient, even primordial. This is especially visible in the music. So much of what is called New Age music is made from artificial ingredients, from canned sounds created by synthesizers tuned and programmed for maximum vapidity; and voices, always the voices, high and breathy with a thin, grating tone that someone somewhere decided signified the celestial. But there are musicians who create spiritual and contemplative music based in the traditions and sounds of antiquity, from nations and cultures with long shadows such as Africa, China, Japan and India.
Riding on this track is the group NightDancers, a duo consisting of flautists Gera Clark and John Sarantos, who perform original songs based on the folkloric styles of several Native American tribes. The music on their CD Montana Crossings is both ethereal and earthy, reflecting the unitary, all-is-one world view common to Native American cosmology. The songs are mostly built on simple three to seven note motifs that go through different permutations. The flutes – NightDancers plays twenty-five different kinds of these wooden, handcrafted instruments – blend together and dance, their music resonating in what sounds like a valley high up in the mountains or a cathedral (kudos to engineer Jim Anderson of AVATAR Studios in NYC). The effect of the music is meditative and dreamy. The music itself is never static or boring; in fact its intricacies reveal themselves with repeated listening. The titles evoke, perhaps invoke, aspects of the natural and supernatural worlds, which many indigenous tribes say are one and the same.
